Man In Box fut un groupe éphémère, fruit de la rencontre de trois petits génies que sont Antoine (Le Parti, Israel Regardie...), Chris (Abschaum, Ashinoa) et Mathis (Police Control, Téléphérique, Skategang, Jeanne & Olivier, The Dolipranes...).

En quelques mois, à cheval sur 2010 et 2011, ils avaient enregistré quelques petits missiles power punk restés planqués dans les tiroirs et dont on avait pu avoir un avant-goût en concert, puis, loin de s'en contenter, avaient pris tout le monde à contrepied en publiant EP synthpop, puis... plus rien.

Ce qui figure sur cette cassette, ce sont ces pépites jamais sorties, à savoir une session d'enregistrement guitare/basse/batterie chez Rudy Rock à Marseille en Face A, et des morceaux synthpop meurtriers en Face B.

Il n'est jamais trop tard pour porter ça à la connaissance de tous, et c'est avec une certaine fierté que Coco Airlines le fait.

Le visuel de la cassette existe en noir, bleu, rouge et vert.

Man In Box was a short-lived band composed by three masterminds : Antoine (Le Parti, Israel Regardie...), Chris (Abschaum, Ashinoa) and Mathis (Police Control, Téléphérique, Skategang, Jeanne & Olivier, The Dolipranes...).

In a very short period of time (between 2010 and 2011), when they played live, they gave us a sneak peak of the power punk hits that they recorded but finally never released. Then, against all odds, they released a synthpop EP and then... nothing else.

What we have on this tape are these unreleased nuggets : a recording session at Rudy Rock's studio in Marseille with the guitar/bass/drums punk basis (Side A) and some synthpop killers (Side B).

It's never too late to let the world know about good stuff, and we're very proud at Coco Airlines to be the ones who fulfill this task sometimes.

The artwork of the cassette exists in black, blue, red and green.
